Gardens on Millbrook Wedding – Jennifer and Brian are Married!

I’ve been looking forward to Jennifer and Brian’s big day at Gardens On Millbrook for a while now. After spending so much time on the road, any time a venue is only fifteen minutes from the house, it makes the day a lot easier. It was a pleasure to be here for these two and I hope y’all are having the best time away on your honeymoon!

What drew you to this venue? What were your favorite things about this venue?

Loved the large space and windows and doors opening up to the patio. I thought the grand piano was an excellent touch as well! When I finally ate the food, it was awesome as well!

What was your favorite moment on your wedding day?

Eating the ice cream!! Mmm! Also, my toast to my dad really made him feel special.

What was the most helpful piece of advice you received when it came to planning your wedding?

Don’t wait until the last minute to finish things and make sure to take a few days off from work before the wedding!

What was the biggest reason you chose Dave Shay Photography on your wedding day?

I loved his photos- they were unique, beautiful, and you can see his attention to detail. He also had a “look” and “feel” unlike other photographers.

How would you describe your Wedding day?

Beautiful! Fast! Unique! Creative!

Is there anything else you would like me to include on your blog post?

We wanted to thank you so much for your help in this process. You were always on point, gave direction when we didn’t know any better haha, and easy to approach and talk with. I especially appreciate you when our wedding planner was MIA but you knew exactly how to calm me down with the many things that went wrong!
