Grand Canyon Travel Photos – Shay Family!

I knew I was headed out to Las Vegas for WPPI, an annual convention where wedding photographers from across the world meet to talk shop, learn, and spend far too much money, and I was excited because I knew a bucket list item of mine would be within reach. After planning out the trip, we could leave Vegas, head to Williams, AZ and stay at the Ramada there in order to save some cash to spend on nice dinners (my family cares a lot more about food than we probably should). The place was on the cheaper side for rooms, had us about an hour from the Grand Canyon, and took really good care of us when Expedia messed up our original reservation.  Customer service is a big deal to me, so A+ in my book for the Ramada on that front.

The actual canyon was incredible. At first, we were a bit nervous about hiking The Grand Canyon with kids as there are few guardrails alongside the cliffs of doom (or so my brain kept painting the picture of) but at the south rim it was easy enough to stay away from the edges while still seeing the view.

Anyway, here are some of my favorites from my favorite Shaycation to date.
