Highgrove Estate Wedding – Jana and Joe are Married!
Ever since their Engagement Session at the Biltmore Estate, I’ve been looking forward to this wedding. Jana and Joe were surrounded by friends and family and I don’t think I went more than a few minutes without hearing laughs from one of the rooms at the Highgrove Estate where everyone was getting ready. I had such a fun time with this wedding and am SO excited to share it with you. Congratulations Jana and Joe! You made it!

Where did your wedding take place?
What drew you to this venue? What were your favorite things about this venue?
I love intimate outdoor setting! And I really like that the Highgrove includes catering, linens, tables, china, etc. It made wedding planning simple and less stressful!
What was your favorite moment on your wedding day?
Getting married to the man of my dreams and celebrating with all of our favorite people!!
What was the most helpful piece of advice you received when it came to planning your wedding?
Enjoy every moment… it goes by so quickly!
What was the biggest reason you chose Dave Shay Photography on your wedding day?
“Joe really liked Dave’s dramatic photos and I liked his bright photos; he was able to capture both our styles! Honestly, he was the best wedding decision we made! He was so organized and was able to corral our friends and kept us ahead of schedule, but was fun and meshed well with everyone!! He was always there during the important moments, ready to capture everything, but I never felt that he was too much. He was flexible and comforting and kept me calm when I was getting stressed. We got so many comments on how awesome the photographer team was!! He and his team was everything I wanted in a photographer, wedding planner/coordinator, and friend!! About the images
These Bridal images were taken with combinations of a Nikon D4s, Nikon D750, Nikkor 85mm 1.4G, Nikkor 45mm Tilt Shift, Nikkor 24mm 1.4G and two off camera SN-910 Speedlights with an assortment of MagMod modifiers. All of my images are color corrected with Adobe Lightroom only and not altered or photoshopped in any way.
