Leslie Alford Mims House Wedding Photos -  Stephen and Mel’s Styled Shoot with Stand Out Events

I’ve gotten to do bridals at Mims before, but I hadn’t gotten to do Leslie Alford Mims House Wedding Photos until this shoot. When Dre from Stand Out Events gave me the vision for a night time styled shoot, which was very different than I’d seen done before, I was all on board. Light is the first priority when it comes to photography, so the idea of a night time shoot is always appealing to me, as I love a challenge. Thankfully, equipped with some flashes, my MagMod gear, and some off camera lighting knowledge, the shoot went wonderfully. The success of a styled shoot is very largely dependant on the people behind it, and I can’t say enough good things about Dre’s team at Stand Out Events or all of the other vendors that contributed.  Check out the list below and thanks for stopping by!

These images were taken with combinations of a Nikon D5, Nikon D750, Nikkor 85mm 1.4G, Nikkor 45mm Tilt Shift, Nikkor 24mm 1.4G and three off camera SN-910 Speedlights with an assortment of MagMod modifiers. All images color corrected with Adobe Lightroom.
