The Bradford – Alyssa + Watt
As I was preparing Alyssa+ Watt’s wedding from The Bradford, I was reminded that one of my favorite things about the industry that I choose to work in is the community I get to be a part of. Photographers from all over the world share a common bond. The best part about that is that on a lot of occasions, we get to join forces and combine perspectives to capture someone’s wedding day in a way that one of us never could alone. In addition to shooting for my own studio for a majority of the year, I also love the chance to shoot alongside some friends I’ve met along the way.
Amaris is someone that travels across the globe and who also happens to be a local friend of mine in Raleigh. Shooting with her is always an adventure, and Alyssa and Watt’s day was no different. With crazy rain, a bit of a disrupted timeline (to say the least) and threats of a tornado, Amaris handled it wonderfully and we were all able to make sure that these two got great memories of their day.
It’s also well worth mentioning that The Bradford was a BEAUTIFUL place to get married. If anyone in Raleigh is looking for a venue that has the perfect intimate feel, this is it. (And that’s without mentioning the elegance that made our job SO much easier.) Easily my favorite Raleigh venue to date.
