Wrightsville Manor Wedding – Kayla’s Bridal Photos!

SO excited that I can share the preview to Kayla’s Bridal photos now that her Wrightsville Manor Wedding has now passed. This was a really cool session for me as not only was it my first time shooting at Wrightsville Manor, which is beautiful by the way, but also because it was my first time doing a dedicated ‘Bridal Session’ instead of trying to cram one into the morning of a wedding day, and I can’t WAIT to do more of them. It’s also really exciting to finally be able to share that one of the images from this session won first place in The Magmod ‘How I shot it’ Contest. I’m not shy about how much I love their products, and with the level of competition among those photographers being so high, I am elated to even have been in the running, let alone being able to take home first place. So all that said, here’s Kayla’s Bridal session and I can’t wait to share her and Cody‘s Wedding with y’all later this week! I’d also like to extend a huge thank you to Elizabeth for helping out on this session.

Here’s a little fun ‘behind the scenes’ shot that I took on my iPhone during this session. The image below was taken about two seconds after I took the above series, from the same spot. No lights changed, nothing moved, the only difference between the two were my camera, two flashes, and the little bit of know how I’ve been fortunate enough to pick up from those ahead of me when it comes to turning a nice place into an incredible one.
