If you chose the location, was there any reason you chose that spot in particular?

Our wedding venue! We wanted everyone involved on our special day to get a sneak peek and be excited with us about our vision

What about the location did you like?

The combination of rolling hills and gorgeous landscaping. Our little family loves being outdoors

How long have you two been together?

3 years! 4 years on our wedding day.

Tell me about the two of you. What makes you two unique, either as a couple or individually?

We both love being outdoors as much as possible when we aren’t working. Mark is a stellar golfer and Lynn enjoys running half marathons. We incorporate our two pups into those activities as much as possible by exploring new greenways and golf courses.

Tell me about the proposal. Don’t leave out any details!

oh the proposal.

Lynn kept nagging Mark about how he’s been dragging his feet for the deadline she gave him to propose and he met said deadline within 12 days!

With the world locked down (thanks COVID) and not being able to travel far, we planned a mini getaway to Asheville with Harley, mainly focusing on the candlelight tour at the Biltmore. Well, thanks to curfews and everything else 2020 wanted to throw out into the world, our tour got moved to a far earlier time than planned but Mark kept his original plan.

When they showed up to go into the Biltmore, Mark was pulled aside at security to which Lynn joked and said- oh do you have my engagement ring on you??- laughed and went to the other side of the room to not hold up the flow. Little did she know that YES that is what triggered Mark to go off in security.

Once the tour was over, we took a stroll up to the Diana statue. Let’s not forget that it is 34 degrees out and DARK on said path. Once we reached the top of the hill, Mark gets all set up to take our photos and all of a sudden, gets down on his knee and asked Lynn to marry him!

Obviously she said yes and the rest is history.

What are you looking forward to most about your wedding day?

Marrying one another with all of our family and true friends.

How would you describe your engagement shoot? Use as many or as few words as you’d like

Easy and enjoyable!!! Dave and Ben made us so relaxed and excited for the session!
